SBS Introduces the COM1800 and SPC-1001B with Latest Intel? Atom? processors

Today SBS Science & Technology Co., Ltd.(SBS), a leading global provider of advanced embedded solutions, launched its new reliable, low power, high performance COM1800
Embedded World 2010, Nuremberg, Germany, March 2, 2010: Today SBS Science & Technology Co., Ltd.(SBS), a leading global provider of advanced embedded solutions, launched its new reliable, low power, high performance COM1800 embedded board based on the Intel® AtomTM processors N450, D410 and D510 and the Intel® 82801HM I/O Controller. The COM1800 provides an excellent solution for multiple applications such as rail transit, electric power control, vehicle mount computer, etc. With Intel® Embedded Flexible Design, the COM1800 can be conveniently populated with a single-core processor (N450 or D410) or upgraded with a dual-core processor (D510) according to different functional requirements.
SBS also launched a fanless embedded panel computer system SPC-1001B with COM1800 inside. Based on the Intel® AtomTM processors N450, D410 and D510 and Intel® 82801HM I/O Controller, the SPC-1001B is featured with high performance and low power consumption. SPC-1001B is designed to fulfill given tasks even in rigorous natural conditions, therefore eligible to meet application demands in in-vehicle navigation, in-vehicle infotainment, and intelligent transportation devices.
“The higher level of integration of the latest Intel® AtomTM processors on 45nm manufacturing enables significant power reduction, performance improvements and smaller package size. Based on these new Intel® processors SBS will provide various solutions to meet wide functional requirements. These SBS products will be available at Q2 of 2010,” says Mr. Zhao Yong, president of SBS. “Integration of SBS rugged modular solution and the Intel® Emb Flex Design can ensure customers get their products to market quickly and with low risk”
